Roman Hodirev

Roman Hodirev is an esoteriologist, multidisciplinary artist, photographer and musician working in the Om Optical Art style. Born in Leningrad in 1981, he spent his childhood in Riga. His work includes drawing, photography and music. His works were influenced by Joseph Beuys and Nam June Paik. Roman uses geometric shapes to create visual illusions in the Op Art style. From 2005 to 2008, he was a representative of WorldStars in Los Angeles, and since 2006 a member of Kosmopoisk. His video art has been presented at the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art and at the Magmart International Video Art Festival in Italy. Since 2021, he has been a member of the PARAZIT art association.
